anyone that says tattoos don't hurt is kidding you - they hurt like a bas@ard but the results, if you choose your artist well, are worth it. And just because someone is good at design doesn't necessarily mean they are good at the shading part of the tattoo. It's the tiny details like a light point on the eye or a shading on a petal that makes all the difference between a good tattoo and a poor one.
i have six and normaly spend six months to a year designing and placement the location of your tat is as important as the design as they are for life good luck
I finally got my first tattoo a week ago... Its the beginning of a half sleeve i'll be doing.. I need to get better pics now that its healing. That was RIGHT when it was done. I'll be adding on gears, tubes, linkages, piston, and a coil over shock that makes it look like the heart pumps the piston to turn the gears to move the coilover shock to work my arm..

I know, we check out the roll calls, read posts, and see so many fun & interesting people on here that we haven't met yet. We both wish we would have found TTR sooner and should have booked right away when we did!
Sorry we'll miss you guys this time! Go again in September. We plan to. Hopefully I'll get a good pic and post it this weekend. Just keep in mind it's darker than the example I put on here. That was drawn on white paper (I'm pale but not that pale) and photoshopped onto a random pic I found on Google. No, that's not my body. Dammit. I also had shading added plus the initials and some swirly embellishments. So basically, other than the tropical theme and general placement, it will look different. BTW, love everybody's pictures. So many awesome and beautiful tats. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming!
