In need of some addicts help... So it seems as though the last week & 1/2 of March is sold out. I know from reading through previous posts that you addicts have had your fair share of sellouts and people getting bumped. We check in on the 26th and have had our reservations now for MONTHS!!! What is the best and worst case scenarios? what are we looking at if we get bumped?
Last year they were bumping people for one day and sending them to the GP, and providing transportation to TTR . It has nothing to do with when you book but more on when you show up and the category of room you have.
If you get bumped it will more than likely be for just the night. Most likely youwould be at GP but could it be Desires (you may want to negotiate more than 1 night in this case). We were bumped once 2 years ago, and went to GP. Just checked our bags into our room (awesome ocean view) and went straight back to TTR, We partied till the wee hours and just caught a cab back to GP when ready. All trips were on the hotel's bill including the morning ride back to check in at TTR. For this inconvenience they gave us 3 free nights which added onto last years trip. So lets see we missed a couple of hours of the party and got 3 extra days in exchange,so wasn't all that bad
