I'm 5'2". I would rather have root canal than go on a night out in flats. As a compromise I have been known to nip back to the room and swap the 6" heels for 4". I just don't feel sexy unless them calves are stretched! :daisy:
Stacia will cut the killer 5" and higher heels for a night like White Dress Shirt night, or in a good dress night. On a more casual night, like White Night/Glow Night, she'll just wear some strappy sandals with little or no heel. lingerie Night might bring out the hugh stripper stilettos, with a combo platform and spike. She suddenly turns 5'9"!
I might have to give the 5 inchers a second thought...forgot my hubs is 6 ft, so when I add 5 inches to my height, I can usually rest my elbow on his head. Probably will need to for balance anyway :aktion014:
I wear the highest ones the first night and by the end of the week I am in flip flops. I LOVE to dance so my feet kill me the whole time I'm there-usually worth every painful moment
Love my heels - I just feel sexier when wearing them ... but the sandpaper tip is brilliant and I will give it a go!! I did biff it on 1 occasion while wearing my 6 inch heels and dancing, but it wasn't too bad - I'm sure my level of intoxication helped with my landing; as well as, the lack of pain I felt haha!! My hubby is 5'8 and I am 5'9 and when wearing my heels I am definitely taller - it may possibly look awkward to others, but I figured once I am laying on the bed this will no longer be problematic ... haha!! :angel1:
I have never brought any other shoes out to Paty O's with me. I wear heels all night. Some are much easier to wear than others, though. I have a fantastic pair of 5" or higher Material Girl (Madonna) platforms stilettos that I cannot wait to wear. Not many places to wear them in the Midwest. I have only worn them in Vegas. I may need those footie slippers or risk having dirty feet because the floor in Paty O's is pretty uneven. But I would also worry about losing the shoes. I did lose a favorite VS bra in Paty O's last Feb. on lingerie night.
I hear ya about not being able to wear the 5" out in the midwest, we're from Wisconsin so I can relate. I practiced walking in the 5" 'ers last night, and let me tell ya, it wasnt easy! I'm used to 3 inches (thats what she said) but the 5 inchers was quite the undertaking. But damn they look good!!! Fool for fashion.... :aktion033:
