OT but people here might know. Do they allow topless sunbathing on a Carnival Cruise?

    They used to have a upper deck that would let you go topless. on some of there ships. But i don't think they let you do it any more.

    We've been on Carnival cruises where they have a very top deck that is topless-optional. It's really windy if you're not laying down, and it's a very mellow scene. But you just have to check boat by boat, and probably itinerary by itinerary.

    They no longer have any Tops Optional decks. Several years ago they remodeled all thier ships. Most ships now have water slides that are now the highest points on the ship. They do have an "Adults" only section in the back of the ship that generally has 2 hot tubs and lounges. Toplessness is not permitted. We will be heading on our 7th cruise in April, mostly with Carnival. We are actually doing a 3 night cruise prior to heading to Temptations. Trying to satisfy both of our cravings!

    alas...they eliminated the topless deck . Just another sign that we are becoming less civilized.

    Ah just go topless, they are just going to ask you to put it back on. No harm in that.

    most of their ships have an adults only area.....might be intersting to see what would happen.....I imagine there would be some religous nuts who would complain and they would ask you to put your top back on. I wouldn't have the guts to be the only one.

    Shows what I know... but hey, once we found Temptation, cruises were dead to us...

    We did have our first TTR-style experience on a Carnival cruise, 10+ years ago. We shut down the piano bar with a really fun crew, then we shut down the last bar on the ship, then we all migrated to the topless deck... at 4AM. Ah, memories.

    I am travel agent. If you let me know what ship you are taking I can find out for you without any hassle. To the best of my knowledge Carnival usually has an restricted upper deck for topless sunbathing...But I can find out for you guys.
