Being that I like to get wicked drunk, take my clothes off and make out with hot chicks.... wouldn't want to run into a co-worker there! lol
Went to TTR last April with a group of people 1 was a co-worker and her girlfriend, another employee from same company and others. Turned out not to be the place for them. They did not have a great time like I did. But I also told them, this is each our own vacation you do your thing I do mine. No problems what so ever with our working relationship or friendship. Now my current co-workers, since I changed divisions would not even think of going to TTR let alone wearing a bikini or or go topless. They would litterly turn around and walk out... No make that run out. Funniest thing for me was my uncle seeing a pic from games on the island from a boob cruise and he calls me and said, hey Mexico called and said you lost half of your swimsuit. Lol guess my family and friends know me and that I take full advantage of my vacations at TTR.
Am I going to be the only one who acts the same at work as I do at TTR... thank god I my crews love to party as hard as they work
I have a new paralegal (in her early 60's), and she, my boss and I went for lunch and Temptation came up. My boss is a randy 68 and he gets a huge kick out of my Temptation stories, so I was talking about playing nekkid tequila water volleyball. My new paralegal was appalled that I would take my clothes off, to the point that she later re-told the story in a shocked tone of voice to someone else at the office (who came and told me, laughing). So now I am more careful who I tell about my Temptation adventures. People who haven't been there JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. I can't wait til my paralegal sees me parading around the Internet in my skivvies when the Miss T voting opens later this month ha ha!
While I have no problems talking enthusiastically about Temptations (to the right audience) no WAY would I want to have any friends/family/co-workers be there with me. Kinda violates the whole "nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit" motto.
We (zebra, lion and unicorn) were talking about it Wednesday night over dinner, and as soon as you mention the word "Temptations" people get their backs up. If they do any research and see the swingers thing on any websites the game is over. People dont understand that its a mix of adults from all over, all age ranges and types shapes and sizes all coming together, mix in some sexy fun, a whack of booze and all kinds of things happen. It does not mean were different than them in any way. Just that we know how to let loose every now and again. Too bad they have a stick up their ass. :brick:
I'm a believer that people choose that resort because they want to cut loose and have fun. Definately not a destination for an uptight person at their core (even if they come across that way professionally). That being said, I'm cool with it, as long as you lay down the ground rule that stories involving what I do aren't told. I'm planning my triumphant return in November with a first timer whom I work with. Before my buddy mentioned an interest I was considering inviting my dad. My only hold up over taking my father is that he isn't interested in the dance club scene and so much of the night life occurs there. Zero concern over being seen letting loose or of anyone being a prude.
I had forgotten momentarily about the motto. At least half of it will still hold true if I bring my dad or buddy lol:huepfen013:
