How soon do you start packing? What are your packing tips? Do you make a list or do you just throw it in a suitcase the night before?
I, Audrey, started about a week ago. Since I don't fit anything from previous years, I have had to go shopping. As I buy it or it arrives by courier, it goes right into the suitcase after a walk around for Dave of course. We leave in a week and it looks like I am completely packed, shoes and all. There will be the last minute changes to but very minor. Dave on the other hand will throw his stuff into a suit case the day before we leave.
That is awesome that you get all new clothes! Good job!! 13 days until we head to St. Louis. At this very time in exactly two weeks, we will probably be back at our room getting ready for lingerie night!!!
I pack the night before..i go though all of my TTR clothes and lay it all out on the bed.. then I match dresses with shoes and then as a tip to packing .. roll up your clothes..all of my little dresses and bathing suites all fit in my carry on.. then i have the big checked one with all the liquids and shoes and fun stuff. then if don't have enough room I take part of hubby's suitcase.. hahah!
My suitcase is open on the floor about 1 month prior, and I throw things in here and there and then I pack everything properly at the end. I have a "master list" on my computer of things I always bring, and I print that out and cross things out as they get packed. Packing makes the holiday feel closer than it really is!
I started packing a couple of weeks ago for our April trip. lol It's all stuff I bought just for the trip and I didn't have anywhere to put it in the meantime and the suitcase was just sitting empty anyway! Sadly, I have no use for sun hats, bathing suits, flip flops and sunscreen before then.
