Booking through Alpharooms

    A week ago last Saturday MTW1997 arrived to find they had no reservation at the resort. Couldn't get ahold of Alpharooms so paid 1000.00 out of pocket for the weekend. They got ahold of Alpharooms on Monday and they admitted the mistake, took care of the reservation, and refunded the 1000.00. So at the least when there was a problem they took care of it. GOOD SERVICE!

    hope it works...

    We booked through Alpharooms today for Oct 3rd 2013...Tried to research it as best we could, but the bottom line was the $$$$ and it was significantly cheaper, so our fingers are crossed and we are looking forward to Oct :)

    I'm hoping we will soon once again have a rep from Alpharooms who will be willing to take part on the forum and answer any questions via PM etc.

    I've been chatting with their social marketing person and just waiting on an email address so I can transfer the previous alpharooms rep's account over.

    Actually I did do that this morning, and it still didn't work. My bank said they were not blocking the charge. I was able to complete the booking by calling alpharooms however with no problem. It took me longer to figure out how to dial internationally than to pay for the trip once I got through.

    They are only open until 10:30 am as time but help can be found on their Facebook acct. someone monitors and they have answered questions quickly.

    Facebook pm them with your information and they will call you early tomorrow morning but call your CC company now so it will process.

    We had the same issue, but they held it open past the date. We got a message to call and pay by phone. The wife called and it took less then 5 min. we are set!

    We had the a similar issue last night except the booking wouldn't even go through. I was worried since I had hit the complete booking once as the button tells you that Iwas going to get charged twice if I pushed the button again.

    I gave up last night and just hoped that I could get the good price at someone again today. When I got to work this morning I went to look at the prices and violla there was the price I was hoping for. I booked it this morning but got the message that you did last night. The reservation was booked but I needed to pay by tomorrow. I called my bank and they removed the block and then I had to figure out how in the hell to call internationally. I've never done it and it stressed me out... LOL I called and talked to a very nice women who reprocessed the charge since my bank told me to have them reprocess it. She recharged it and emailed out the itinerary. I was such a basket case using them as this was the 1st time we have booked with them. Now that I know the way of life with them I will continue to book with them as long as they are the better price!

    It may be that the company is over seas and you may need to check with the credit card company to let it go through.

    We have used them in the past and have not had any issues and the prices are great.
