I have a suggestion that everyone could try..Im not saying there is a right way or wrong way to do Cardio because its what ever works for you and what ever your comfortable with.. I too was trying to get in 60 minutes 90 minutes 120 muntes of cardio but I just dont like to workout that long.. it makes me procrastinate about doing cardio which in turn sometimes doesnt get done....so after doing a lot of reading ..and finally listening to my personal trainer... here is what I will be doing for cardio from now on.. 25 minutes.. treadmill- 2 minute warmup- 2 minute cool down. Minute 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Level--- 4 4 6 6 7 8 9 6 7-- 8- 9-- 6--7--- 8- 9---6--7---8--9 10--4 now.. Im not 20 or 30 years old so I cant do the level 9 or 10 I just cant run that fast and breath yet..lol and so I start at level 3 but.. that is a kick my ass high intensity fat burning workout in 25 minutes.. 3 times a week and has just as much if not more health benefits than working longer.. it can be any cardio machine as well.. I like it a lot.. and I dont have to give up 2 hours a day for exercise..just some food for thought..
Weight loss. Hi I'm Steve. My wife, Cammy & I are going to be at TTR Mar.3-24th & have been exercising & really watching what we eat for the last 3 months or so as we want to be 'beach' ready. I myself have lost about 15lbs & taken 6 inches off my waist & am in size 28 jeans. I haven't worn 28's since I did body building when I was 20. I just turned 54 & weigh 150lbs. Cammy is the lightest she's been in 10 years & is smokin' hot! (as if she wasn't before anyway) & feels sexy & confident like never before. Our secret is 30 mins a night on the elliptical, cut out breads by 90%, cut out all white pasta & white rice. Embrace quinoa as an awesome replacement :icon_biggrin:

Well hit the gym for an hour of weights todays. Legs, Abs, and Shoulders. Yep feeling them now. More Fitter work for the legs, Mountain climbers, spidermans, cross over crunches, heel touches, bridges, squat sits, and med ball shoulder work. Feeling good. I decided that this month I have to lose 10 lbs. At least that is the goal.
