Hey Again, Have any of the ladies (or gentlemen) gotten their hair braided while staying here? Is there a location nearby in the market or do they have beach vendors? A couple of us have ethnic hair and do not want to deal with it. Trying to decide to do it in advance or if we can get it done cheaper there! Thanks, Val
Yes many times! As with absolutely EVERYTHING in Cancun, never pay the first couple prices you are given. They always start me at 70 but I can usually get it done for about 30-40. Once I got it done for 15! they aren't micros..... They are just small box braids... but they are fun! The people on the beach tend to be pricey. If you go to the market down by the clubs, slices, terrasta, etc there are TONS of people who braid hair. Just walk around and don't settle on a price until you bargain super low and know that you have the lowest possible rate! Here's a pic of me with mine in 2009. It's an awkward pic but you get the point lol.
