I had a Dr. friend turn me on to Pedialyte for hangovers. Personally it works better than anything I've ever tried (other than hair o' the dog, of course). It's about $5/liter, so it seems expensive until it actually works, and then you'll pay just about anything for it. :icon_razz:

So I was looking for the powder version to pack to Cancun and found an adult version that is a little less sweet and higher in electrolytes. And their current batch is expiring at the end of May, so for now they are doubling orders for free if you buy it in the 25-packs. It takes 4 packs to make a quart/liter of liquid, so it makes sense to buy the 25-packs anyway. We got it last week and gave it a test run this weekend, and I think it's better than Pedialyte.

Since sometimes you have to stop drinking and sober up... Happy drinking! :beer4:

(And no, this might sound like an ad but I have no affiliation with this company, just found it on Amazon while looking for the kids' stuff. :icon_razz: )

hahaha. Dood I use this to rehydrate after contests. It kicks ass. Pedialyte that is

Stage dehydration is very similar to alchahol dehydration, but more extreme. So if it works for bodybuilders it will work for you.

You should be able to get the powdered version at almost any drugstore. Its in the baby section in most cases.
They also make a condensed gel or jelly version that you add water too.

Well I just ordered the $25 deal (so 50 packets). Seems like a good value, compared to Pedialyte, and I love that it's powder.

Gatorade G2 also works really well, far less calories, but again not a powder. Costco makes a G2 knock-off called Vitarain Sport, which seems identical, at less than half the cost. It's my go-to pre and post-game ritual. But I won't have it with me in Cancun!

I wear these when I'm drinking: Insect DEFEND Patch

They're vitamin B1 patches. They're meant as a deet free bug repellant, but they work even better to prevent hangovers. I pay about $7 for a box of 5. Totally worth it. Not sure if they sell this brand in the States, but I do know they sell actual hangover patches there which are the same thing and they cost even more.

Probably not great for the pool though. And they leave a sticky ring around the patch, so it gets dirty. You really have to scrub to get it off. So also not great for bikinis. lol

Bananas work good on hangovers too!! Eat one before you go to bed and have another for breakfast. There are plenty of bananas on the breakfast buffet at TTR.:xyxthumbs:

Vitamen B complex works wonders. Just take before you start drinking. Also RU-21 works great also. You can get it on Amazon and the price changes all the time. Last year I got 6 bottles of 120 for 8.00 each and they are normally about 17.00. I always bring a couple bottles to share with my friends...:)
