I'm not sure...too much drinking...too much attitude...too much of both. I said hi (with the husband on hand too) to both her and her husband/boyfriend/significant other at the pool bar. She gave me a very dirty look and told me that we need to not speak to them and how dare we talk to someone we don't know and that we were interrupting her vacation. I said sorry and turn quickly away. Not what I really wanted to say, but it was first day and I really didn't want to deal with a such a shall I say bitch. Luckily we found friendly people and had a blast. I'm not letting one bad apple ruin my day or trip. She was too busy ruining her own. Felt bad for her husband. He looked kinda miserable. You'll have nasty people everywhere...however the great thing is that they are the minority at TTR.
...and then she went home and talked about what a vile, unfriendly resort Temptation is on TripAvdisor, and how the "swingers" wouldn't leave them alone at the bar. :aktion061: The strangest part is that she was at the pool bar. We always see a few people who look like they have that stick-up-the-ass look, but they're also always off by themselves on the beach. Why would you sit in the most social spot at the resort if anyone speaking to you is "interrupting your vacation"? Oh well, as I'm sure you found it's not just the CCC people who are awesome at TTR, that woman notwithstanding.
Kinda what I thought too. We found some amazing people that are on CCC and ones that aren't. I put a section in my trip report just to address the people and fun we had. The ones we talked to that aren't on here did get told about CCC though
Wristbands and theme nights really break the ice and help make introductions easier. If you have wild hair like mine, people just come up to you all day/night and say 'hey, you're Sultryfox' - that was pretty cool.
We still use ours as well. Already got them packed and ready to go! One pink and one blue. If you see them on our chairs stop by and say hi! D
