We just booked a last minute 4 day trip from feb 7-11. We will try to absorb as much as we can in those 4 days since we are newbies. We have been to Desire and Hidden Beach and would like to experience Temptation. We are not swingers but it doesn't bother us as we are all there on vacation to have a fun time. I wonder what the real, actual, true percentage of lifestyler couples is on average at TTR? Anypone have a guess? Most I've ever noticed people openly talking about it was one weekend at the end of a so-called takeover, and it was only about 1/4 event hen. Now, crazy, lunatics who like to get stupid hammered, get naked and be goofy? Now that'd be closer to 90%...
well..... DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! you will regret every second that you were there if you don't book for longer! take what you can when you can I guess but our first trip last year, we booked for 5 nights and that SUCKED!! great time but holy crap it was not enough time. Especially for a first trip to take it all in. Our philosophy was that we would do a short stay just to get our feet wet and see what it was all about without spending time and $. Almost brought a grown man to tears having to leave that place! LOL
$parkie thanks we will try our best..... Stacia and John we've been to quite a few lifestyle resorts and seem to have the most fun because sexuality is open without judgement that's all. We didn't mean to offend you in any way. Summer that's how we approach life, "no worries, shit happens". Windham we will take pics and post them. Just wondering what their pic policy is at TTR. Sweet this was last minute and we can only take off work for 3 days. I know we will regret it but 5 days away from normal life is better than none. Glenn/Monique thanks we will post a full trip report once we return. Ingram we were wondering if we should go even though we're going to be there such a short time. We want to go but also want to enjoy all TTR has to offer. It's still in the air.
Hey, no worries! wasn't offended, just confused. I've been trying to determine exactly "where" this huge reputation for TTR being a swinger's/lifestyle haven came from or is still coming from, and having no success. We're with you on the going to places where people are more open is more fun. I hate places where everyone is walking around like they got attacked from behind by a prison broom, i.e. a stick up the A$$. We like going to the fun/sexy parties for the same reason. Cut loose, get sexy, have a little too much fun, show a little too much skin, drink maybe a little too much, laugh a little too loudly, like that. In other words, Live. Oops.... almost stepped right up on that soapbox. My bad...
