This has taken me a few weeks to write as I don't want to really admit to myself that it is over. I find myself dreaming of ways to get back there sooner rather than waiting 11 months!!! We travelled with Sunwing and had a good flight except when we saw the large bus waiting to take us to TTR. We had a drink at the airport and then waited at least another hour to get going...it was pure torture stopping at all the other resorts. Next time we will be booking a car to get us there right away. We got a fabulous room this year (1209), it looked down at the sexy pool and we even had a pretty good view of the ocean! Comparing this trip to last years trip I knew I didn't want to waste one minute of my time, and I certainly succeeded in that. I feel like I hardly slept at all as I was just having too much fun and didn't want to miss anything! One night my husband went back to the room for a "minute", half an hour later I came up and he was in bed. I said in 2 nights I will be in lockdown in flannel PJ's all winter, you better get up and come party with me. 10 minutes later we were both on the dance floor. :musik026: The one major negative of the trip is that we travelled with friends that we meet there last year and one of them got very sick. He couldn't hold anything down and basically just slept all week. It was really sad because there is not much that you can do and when you are so looking forward to something it is a real downer to have your plans ruined by illness. We went on the Boobs Cruise on Jan11 and what a blast that was!!! Last years cruise was MUCH tamer than this one!!! I love going on the island and that whole scene. The staff as well as Steve and Janet are oh so friendly. Come to think of it, I better go feed Omar...I kidnapped him and keep him in my closet. I think he would fit right in here with a little bathing suit on and some boots and a hat. I would be the most popular mom at school. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs: We meet some amazing people this trip, martinagirl, jestererin and of course snookie and jeff just to name a few. We are already planning on going back the same time next year. My very minor complaints are how they wash those plastic glasses. I wish they had a little dishwasher system instead of just stinking them in the sink. It really can't be getting them cleaned?!! And the DJ, I can't remember his name but I feel like he has such and attitude!! I also felt like that last year so tried to really give him a chance this year-no go. Oh well I guess out of the 100's of wonderful staff that you will get at least 1 asshole. The party never stopped, the drinks were a flowing and my stomach hurt from all the laughs. It's so wonderful how this sexy environment makes you feel like a woman again. You are not just the mom, cook, cleaner ETC....I LOVE THIS PART!!!! You can loose yourself in day to day life and TTR brings you back to your fun, sexy self. I absolutely love this place-there is nothing like it on the planet. I am hooked for life. Up
USA Transfers is the best and fastest we use them every time now nice trip report Im ready to go back
LynnShaun - So glad you posted this trip report! Last year was our 1st trip to TTR and we did ride the bus and I remember all the stops we made. We are going back for only a short trip 3/28-4/1 and we don't want to waste any time!! What is the best mode of transportation would you reccomend?

Great report! I am sorry your friend became ill. I have been ill there and it sucks. I just did not eat or drink so I could be in the sun but it is not the same. One time I even contracted a Mexican Influenza....not fun.
