Hey everyone. There will be 8-10 of us heading to Cancun from April 18-21. What AI should we choose? Partying/Drinking is an absolute MUST. We do not want to stay at a dirty place though. Our ages range from 26-28. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
A larger place like Oasis would probably be better for a bachelor party than a place like Temptation. Granted Temptation is a hell of a party place. A lot of guests on here that go to Temptation tend to be apprehensive of single men in larger groups, as I would say about 80% of the occupancy at a given time is couples. Of the remaining 20% probably 12-15% are men and the remaining 5-8% are women. While you may want to party on a bachelor party I am sure a few of the guys wouldn't mind 'hooking up' so you're already going against the odds. This isn't counting the hopes of, I am sure more than a few couples, hoping to bring in another woman during their trip so they may get more terrtorial as well lol! As a bigger group you might feel like you are isolated a bit, bigger groups being more imposing to outsiders etc. For that reason I'd think that the Oasis or a larger hotel closer to the major bars would suit you better than Temptation for a bachelor party. If you wanted to try Temptation I'd say a smaller group 3-4 guys would find it easier to fit into the dynamic there. Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.
I have heard similar thoughts from other couples that have gone about the ratios of couples, single guys and girls and all are about the same. For every 100, 80 are couples, 15-18 are single guys and 3-5 are single women... For a 10 guy stag, I am assuming your not looking for a sausage fest, and want to party with a large number of single women, TTR may not be the best choice for that just from what I hear... Oasis would be a younger crowd from what I hear as well with the avg age at TTR 35-45ish
