Traveling alone to temptations kwt800: Yes it is! I travel considerably as a single. Friends that I'd like to go either can't afford traveling frequently or do not have as much time off for vacations. I do about five a year. Temptations tends to be a couples resort but in my experience I agree with some of the other comments, everyone tends to be friendly. I went twice as a single in 2012 and had fun. There is always something going on (volleyball & pool games for instance) that you can get involved in if you want. You can also sit back, watch the festivities, and relax with a book. Dinner is a great time to catch up on reading if you don't hook up with someone to join. I have also been to Club Med in the past numerous times (Cancun, Turqs, & others). Unfortunately, they have changed their concept from having several adult singles resorts to all family. The nice thing at the time was they would arrange a room for two single travelers which reduced the cost substantially. At that time they also would work with you on changing rooms if incompatibility was found. Who knows, if you go single, you might meet a traveling mate for another trip. You never know whats going to happen in Temptations Look me up if your there 2-6 to 2-12 or 3-16 to 3-23. My motto: Go For It! Life's to short.

I guess that's not that bad considering you have your own room for whatever reason you need a room to yourself for And your right SJ Softail life is too short not to take a chance and have some fun. Thanks everyone for your input.

Hey everyone: I am looking to travel by myself mid to late March. I don't usually travel by myself but this place looks like my cup of long-island-iced tea! I'm a flight attendant and I'm gay. However, I really don't feel comfortable hanging out in an all-gay resort and most of my friends are straight lol. My biggest fear is plunking down the $$ and then finding a resort full of meat-heads. And, I don't mean that to offend anyone, but that's my biggest fear. This place seems open minded enough that I feel like I will fit in just fine. Like I said, most of my friends are straight so I am certainly well aware of boundaries. It would be GREAT to get to know some of you beforehand. Of course, I cant commit to a specific date yet, as I have to wait and check seat availability (the joys of flying for free!) but I have vacation from the middle of March thru the first week of April. I really enjoy reading everyone's opinions so thanks for everyone who has posted. Cheers!

Thanks Cube! I have been 'stalking' the boards for awhile LOL. I'm really thinking Temptation is THE place for me. I love silly open-minded fun even when there is NO touching required! I sorta wish there was an alternative to the Boobs Cruise tho LOL..maybe a Penis Parade?? It doesn't look like it matters too much when I go...there seems be tons of cool peeps during almost every week! Depending on the flights, I am looking at mid to late March to early April.
