So I wanted to report on the vibration workouts.

Have done 8 of the 10 over the last 3 weeks, and I have to say my butt feels firmer. The workouts are only 20 minutes, but they are TOUGH. I kind of cripple out the door afterwards, and I like to think I am in good shape.

I think I will buy a 1-month unlimited package for the month right before the April trip and hit it really hard to see what I can accomplish. Forgot the toaster: I might be able to bounce a Volkswagen off my butt come April.

www.purevibe.ca is the link to the studio I go to if you want to read about vibration workouts generally. Most big cities should have at least one. Vancouver has 3 that I know of.

I saw an episode on the Doctors and one of them was on a machine and while it looked funny i cant remember what they said about it .. was it good or bad.. I think they commented that it was good for circulation.

I think I forgot to mention that the vibe machines are also great for joint pain. I threw my back out over Xmas, and when I started my vibe workouts, I still had 25% of the pain left. After 3 sessions of lying with my low back on the vibe plate for 2 minutes, my back pain completely resolved. Amazing.

its the damn scale.. I do this to myself all the time.. and for me it is partially my problem with YO YO dieting.

when I weigh myself and I am down.. even though I don't say, Oh I'm down 1 or 2 lbs I can have cheat day but its stick in the back of my head and i end up cheating.. if you cant weigh everyday you don't know if your have lost anything so you less likely to cheat.. lol that's my new goal.. get rid of the scale.. only weigh once a week on a Monday.. not going into the weekend..

We have a cheat day on weekends.. that way we don't go stir crazy... and last night we had friends come over so I made deconstructed shepherds pie burgers.. it wasn't AWFULLY bad for us, but definitely wasn't healthy..

Did half an hour on the elliptical today... 11 minute miles on 12 incline and 7 resistance.. getting there...

And tomorrow at the gym I'm gonna use their bmi measuring device to see what that says vs weight..

well I was not going to workout today but went to try out my first 75 minute warm yoga class.. it wasn't what they called hot yoga either.. temp got up to 35c that like 95f for you american.. lol

I don't think I have ever sweat so much in my whole life.. and have to say at the about 60 minutes I did not feel good... kind of nauseous and headache, I did have to stop for about 5 minutes and just lay there but finishes the last 10 minutes .. its harder than you think and if I did a warm yoga class id hate to see what a hot yoga class is like..lol I was told after, that it is common to have the symptoms that i had the first couple times.

will i incorporate this into my weekly workouts?.. um not sure..I was not blown away with it but there are other kind of classes. i may do a few more drop-in classes to see..
