A few little questions about amenities at the hotel. 1. Do they have bottled water available in the rooms? 2 is there a refrig in the room? Is it stocked? 3 is there alcohol stocked in the room? 4. Does the gym have weights/dumbbells or just treadmills? Thanks
This won't matter to you at all- you'll be too busy drinking your face off in the sexy pool with all your new friends. Frankly for most people, they are doing us a favor not having the hard stuff in the room lol.
Yes bottled water replaced daily in the rooms. If there's not enough, leave a good tip and ask the maid if you can have an extra bottle. Refrigerator in every room too. Not very big, but they stock it with cola, beer, and water daily. We noticed our maid wasn't restocking the fridge every day last trip, but not an issue for us because we don't use the stuff in there apart from the water anyway. We also went to Walmart and bought a few extra bits that we kept cold in the fridge. As mentioned above, you get a couple of beers in the fridge replaced daily. What some people do is the beer they don't use that day they put in their suitcase and stock pile them as they're replaced every day if they need it. To be honest though the bars are open almost 24 hours so we found we never needed the beer in the room. Good if you're going out of the hotel on a day trip elsewhere though. Can't tell you what the gym is like as never made it there. Hoping that'll change next trip!
In all seriousness, we booked a Jacuzzi suite (enjoy some peace). Other than the obvious, is there any real difference between a Jacuzzi suite and regular suite?
Apart from the obvious, another plus for jacuzzi suites is that they are ground floor in a quiet side of the hotel close to all main communal areas. That's the only other main bonus I can think of. Everything else is same as normal suites.
