Singles! will we fit into the ttr atmosphere?

LOL,, ( was just clarifying how I made my opinion) just want to make it clear I don't have anything against single guys, I've made some good friendships there.

 

haha ok folks I think the poor guys know to be on their best behaviour! Remember all the guys on here have been single at one point or like me still are!

Hi Donald, you mentioned a couple of posts back that "brits have a bad rep at this resort" just wondered why or what may have happened?
Going for the 1st time in march, will there be a frosty reception if someone is from the UK? Not encountered any problems any where else, but is there something i should know.
P.s. understand if you dont want to comment on this for whatever reason!!
or anyone else give me a clue ?

 

A bit over a year ago an entire soccer team stayed at the hotel, apparently they weren't well behaved. Really it only seems to be an issue with large groups trying to prove that they 'are the man' to their friends. I wouldn't get concerned about your reception.

 

There have been large groups of singles show up. They sit all around the swim up bar. The women are uncomfortable going up to get drinks because most of them make disrespectful comments. We believe it must be the way the resort is advertised over there. There are some great singles that come to the resort, and again, some not so great. Large groups of young single guys tend to drink a lot and forget how to be respectful.

 

Dude there is no problem at all, just go and have a blast, you'll be just fine there. There have been a couple of occasions where singles guys, in their 20's fro the UK, USA, Canada, etc etc getting hammered and either verbal or physical with some couples and other singles at Temptations after a long day / evening of drinking, some young guys go with the intention of tapping a MILF, or a single 20 year old too, some go just to have a blast. Just remember no fighting, no arguing or the resort will probably kick you out just like any other resort would.

If you're going to simply have a blast then you'll be fine, if opportunity knocks, and it might just be respectful to those couples and be a gentleman and you and your friend will have a awesone trip, and I am positive you'll be back

 

There was also a bachelor party , and a small group of 4 guys who weren't happy until they were so drunk, loud and obnoxious they couldn't walk.

Not to single out Brits ( seriously there's a lot of couples that can cause trouble ) but they do seem to be the trouble repeaters at the resort.. Probably because of the way some travel companies market the resort in Europe.

Respect and they will have a good time

 

Well just because alot of young boys are rowdy and disrespectful doesn't mean we are going to be like that. Like i said its a small group of young men yes! but we are gentlemen, mature and not like the trouble makers that you lot have experienced. we know how to treat women and couples, would also like to say were not going to hit on any wives or annoy anyone, we just happened to have booked at Temptation and were just looking to party with some great people and experience Cancun at its best for our first time!
