Never expierienced ANY dress-code in any Club (expect the no shirt, no shoes = no service). Wear what you want, how you feel comfortable and just have a blast :-D I am so glad that i dont have to worry about that stuff when i am on vacation :-D
Coco Bongos can be really fun. Be aware, it is really loud. I used to work in nightclubs with bands, I know what loud is and the night we were there was probably 140db. We did the basic get in package. I think it was $50 ~ $60 per person. For $100 or so you got to go upstairs and sit and the quality of service and drinks was much better. You get a great view, but are not with the crowd downstairs. It seems like the party starts around 11 and ends, well not sure when it ends, but it would be daylight I am certain. If you dont take the bus from TTR back you can take the local bus for around $1 *USD or I think it was 9 pesos. If you take a taxi they tend to over charge you. It was around $25 to come back.
I was at Coco's last Friday night. Price for a Friday or Saturday is $70 vs $60 for other nights. I found a mostly mixed crowd of holiday goers with a fair mix of locals too. :musik026: Buses and taxis run 24 / 7 and yes the taxi's seem to be about twice as much going back to the hotels. They had a few new shows added in to keep current with what's being played these days. Didn't seem the same without Karen dancing on the bar though! One thing I did notice is that they didn't seem to be using the bar air blasts to get all the girls skirts to go up. Maybe they are maturing?? LOL.....not likely!
