Hey Guys, Just wondering if Cancun is still a great place to visit during the months of april-May (Stupid question, just making sure though ) Also do big dj play at clubs? Are there any events? And where can i find a listing off the most recommended accommodation.
Cancun is busy year round- even low season in Sept/Oct is busy enough. April/May is a great time to visit - not too hot and before hurricane season. World famous DJ's often play in Cancun, you'll need to check the club websites for the schedule but line ups aren't usually announced until a month or two before. As for recommended accommodation, there is such a wide range of choice it's difficult to answer without knowing what your priorities are and how much you want to spend.
thanks for the reply Steve. Im looking at having a great time, which would involve partying, site seeing & fishing. However party would be the main thing for the group im going up with. Price range is pretty lenient, we can spend up to 150-200 a night if needed however we would prefer to stay somewhere safe.
Hi all, Dates have changed and we are going to be there May 30th to 6th of june. Still ok, and when is hurricane season? Did some reading. Looks like it starts in june but peaks around october. There are 8 Guys, what place would you experts recommend? Were going to have a good time . Also any activites which are particularly good? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section im noob
Hurricane season officially starts June 1st but it's very rare that we have any hurricanes early season. Everywhere is safe, no worries on that aspect. With a group of 8 guys maybe look into the Riu's. Riu Las Americas is very close to the nightlife.
