I was happy to read in someone's trip report a month or so ago that Steve is now taking everyone to the very nice open air bar on the beach just as you walk off the dock (at least I believe I know which one it is). Craig and I went by ourselves there on the last cruise in April, and there was a guy playing a guitar who was really good (reminded me of listening to Bruce play). Right on the beach, nice view of the ocean. Hard to beat that. I was never a big fan of the Stinky Bar myself. The name kinda says it all.
Although we didn't go on the cruise while we were there for Halloween, we did spend the day on the island with Ed & Sue and met up with everyone from the cruise at the dock bar. It was much nicer and there was plenty of room. Thanks again Steve for offering to let us join the cruise for the ride back even though we took the ferry.
I was on a cruise last Sepember. It`s as Karen explained, a bar overlooking the ocean, with a lovely breeze blowing through, much better than the stinky bar, to enjoy a beer or cocktail :ernaehrung005:
We actually ventured to a bar/restaurant to the left when you get off the boat last April ,probably the same one. It was nice and very Mexican, Sand floors good food and cold beer while looking at the beautiful ocean, some old guy going around with one of those small guitars playing Mexican songs , good friends, great memories.
