We think that 8 nights are perfect but can only get direct flights on Saturdays so we normally stay 7 nights.
I was a little concerned when I saw Donald created a thread that said "How long is too long" So I have 2 answers. I'll go with 9............ days That was our longest trip and I would say I wouldn't want to do any longer than that. Paul
last year, being our virgin trip, we booked for 5 nights to get a feel for it. Flight home was canceled due to the tornado that ripped apart the Texas Airport. So we had to book another night(at full price). Let me tell you this, staying an extra day is AMAZING.... the problem though in troubled time like that is having to say goodbye twice! What a shitty shock to the system! This trip we booked 7 only due to time constraints at home&work. Better 7 days then 5 though, but wish we would have 10.
oh ooh, we booked 16 days for the week 8 crew, we know this is going to hurt but we need to get TTR completely out of our systems to get back to work in March for the season. Probably going to need 2 weeks to recover at home and a good detox in place too
I hate to burst your bubble...once you've been to TTR you will never get it out of your system... Your doomed...LOL If we could we'd stay forever...LOL I've been hounding my boss for a couple years now to let me work from Cancun..
We agree with you guys...forever sounds great..lol Now back to reality, our first stay was for 7nights which to us wasn't long enough. Our last 3 visits have been for 10 nights which we think is perfect for us :cheerleaders:
ive been 7 nights and 10 i personally like the 10 better. it gives me down time inbetween. i just cant hang for 10 days straight!!
Maybe 10? We stayed 14 and had a lot of fun but we did break things up by going on our own adventures through the city during the day and some nights. I think by the last couple of days we were not drinking as much. We want to try 10 this time around.
I've been a bunch of times for 7 nights, then tried 10 night and 12....my next trip I'm staying for 14 nights...I'm not sure a trip could ever be too long. I have never done any day trips/excursions, so with the upcoming trip perhaps a day away from the sexy pool and socializing will be ok
We went 7 days in 2009 (not enough), 10 days in 2010 (not enough), in 2013 it's 12 days in April with the addicts... Will let you know if our livers survive...
