Size of beds

The resort website said the basic rooms have either 2 doubles or a king. But when I made my reservation with the resort they said it was 2 queens or a king. If it's the latter, I would be fine with either setup. But if it's 2 doubles, I'd try and push for the one king.

So, which is it? And how hard or easy is it to get one king instead of the 2 beds?

We've only had the king, but yes, i believe they are doubles, and not queens.

 

We always have just a king bed.

 

There are definitely rooms with 2 doubles; I haven't seen one with queens. If it's full when you get there you may get stuck with doubles the first night; just let them know you want to switch and you'll be able to the next day. And since it's your first night you're just gonna get so sh1tfaced so you don't even remember going to sleep anyway. :rainfro:

 

It's good to have a doin' it bed and a sleeping bed.

 

We had a room with two doubles but didn't mind. Either we were nice and close together or we each had a bed!

 

That was the plan actually (wife's idea). But a double is a tad small

 

Yup... So true... The curse of the first night...

 

Are the doubles bolted to the floor?...If not, push 'em together and voila, you have one big 'sleeping' area. :clappyinghappy:

 

Not bolted to the floor. They slid around alot!
