Fellow Brits, where have you been where it's not ok? In all my (extensive) years of travelling, the only place I have ever been asked to put my top back on was on and adult's only cruise! Apparently that sort of thing is only acceptable on the top deck dont'cha know...... :daisy:
I don't want to "rain on anyones parade" here, and The Sheik is surely one that loves the resort eye candy, but belive it or not, being topless on the beach IS against the law in Mexico, although it it never enforced in Cancun, in part do to the large number of European tourists that like to go topless. Iv'e been to Pto Vallarta approx. a dozen times, and actually topless there is frowned upon hugely, and therefore virtually non existant.:anon: If a woman goes topless on the beach there and just one person complains, regardless if it's a local or a tourist, they will be told to cover up immediatly or face arrest, can you belive that? About 6 years ago down there @ the GCP, we had a pretty good (drunken) game of tequila volleyball going on in the pool one late afternoon, with some of the girls sitting on our shoulders topless, and the hotel security started to give them all this shit , threatening to kick them out of the resort if they didn't cover up. Asshat hotel security guards! I don't go there anymore. PV Sux!:aktion052:
well there ya go.. I stand corrected! ONCE AGAIN. that is why I love this place... you can be wrong a hundred time and you just seem to be helping but not considered a dumb ass! Thanks for the help
We have stayed in the Riviera Maya a few times and it was very common to be topless. Although at the time we were with the kids so we had to explain why all these crazy people had their tops off.
I have been staring at my screen for an hour, waiting for her to move or just turn around, but alas nothing...back to work I guess.....
