Nothing super exciting but go eat at The Surfin Burrito it's in front of Senor Frogs. Literally the best burritos we've ever had and we live right on the TexMex boarder!
While on the topic of excursions and drinks....... The best Pina Colada I ever had was on Isla Mujeres at Villa La Bella. When cuising the island in your golf cart, counter clockwise, it is as you are headed back towards town on the East shore. I can't swear on it, but it tasted like it was made from scratch! Last time I was there there was a large sign out front that read: "Beer so cold it'll make your teeth hurt!" Very inviting in June!
We've been to Cancun several times but had never visited Walmart until last summer. Actually was a fun little trip... Just walk out front of the resort and hop the bus that says Walmart... ( I forget the number ) Not a long ride maybe 15 minutes. People watching at Walmart was very interesting and we picked up a good bottle of tequila for our room for 10 dollars.......The bus was a dollar each way... Have a great vacation !
First time we went to TTR we had all theses excursions planed. The first bus we got on after arriving at the resort was the bus back to the airport. Fun times go by way too fast
Glad we got to see most everything and do most of the tours and excursions before we found TTR or we probably woulldn't have. Too fun to take off for a day unless it's for the Boobs Cruise...........
We do walmart the first day of the trip as well for some room snacks, liquor etc. We grabbed a taxi last year instead of the bus and I think it was around 10 each way. But we took the bus to Market 28 (I think that's the name) for some shopping. Thats the best place for souveneir shopping as you could easily spend a day there if you wanted going in and out of all the stalls.
Since you are only there Jan 22nd - 27th I wouldn't worry about doing anything else during the day other than the Boobs Cruise. The Boobs Cruise is a must as long as they will have one. If they don't end up doing the Boobs Cruise, then I would recommend taking a fairy to Isle Mujeres OR Chichen Itza for a day trip. You will probably feel like you missed out if you end up doing a boobs cruise and then try to plan another day trip.
