So I am in full contest mode now, pushing for a show of June1 My coach wants me not to go, but were already booked and paid. I will need all my new friends to help me through cardio and workout sessions. I dont think that the food will help, so the cardio will be paramount. Zebra is not a morning girl so I will be on my own for the first 2-4 hours of the morning depending on what time I get up of course. In most cases cardio will be a walk on the boulevard in the morning, I am guessing around 8am after breakfast. Noon workouts most likely. The only day I wont be doing this is Boobs Cruise day. Need to keep my drinking to a minimum. Liquid calories are brutal to count
Best of luck to you, but I'll be nothing but a bad influence and I won't even apologize. :aetsch011: I don't think I'm even bringing gym clothes this trip, and I can guarantee you won't see me anywhere but asleep at 8AM. I take that back; I can be very helpful: Straight liquor has the fewest calories. Nothin' but shots for lion!
Wow, good for you commiting to that. I definately have full appreciation for the commitment bodybuilders have and understand somewhat what you are about to go through. It was brutal for me just trying to say no when we were doing a chinese food order on Saturday, let alone being decent all week at Temptation. Any help I can provide while we are there (aside from an eating or cardio buddy, lol) I'd be more than happy. Best of luck......Ain't nothin but a peanut!!
Thanks guys, I will eat but try and stay within my calorie allotment for the day, not that its possible to measure and weigh like normal. Will have to make up for it in cardio activities. Gym Walking Sex Dancing etc....
Are you on a cutting diet? Thats going to be insanely hard to keep your calories. Lets see ... 15 beers by the pool 1500 cal... 15 at night 1500 cal... no room for food haha
Well the treadmill works good enough to get some HIIT going. Bring down some electrolyte tabs for your bottled water and just get it done. You got this.. Good luck.
Bring sugar free powdered mixers to add to liquor and that will cut down on calories a bunch! Baja Bob's is a great website to order that stuff from, and their margarita mix is really good - can't tell it is sugar free at all! I'm doing the same thing, preparing for a race in early March and need to keep up on my training that week I will be at TTR - a little over a week from now. I will do treadmill and elliptical, plus yoga from my iPad - and they have yoga at the pool some days. In April I lost 5 pounds after our trip. I am not a huge fan of their food, brought protein bars and replaced some meals with those, and used sugar-free mixers. I had a blast, so cutting the calories does not affect fun at all!! I don't like beer, so that helps! No way to cut those calories (even light beer has a lot of calories!).
artyhorn:I admire your dedication. However, I will eat healthily, do 9 classes a week at the gym in the run up, but when I am at TTR, I eat, drink and enjoy what I've been looking forward too for how long..... :daisy:
