Last year we gave in and did the little meeting. After 3 hours and some very strong drinks, we had to get a little stern with them so we could get out to the pool. They try and tie you up as long as possible to make you give in. They kept telling us how great it is to give your friends free weeks. Hmmmm no one ever gave me a free week yet!!!!!! Guess I need richer friends!!!LOL
I am sure this will be effective No, I don't want a Fucking Timeshare (T-shirt) seriously a firm no - and watch out if they off a resort tour upon arrival, just say you have been there before...
I don't understand this, when all you have to say is no thank you and walk out. They don't lock the door or force you there against your will. :huh:
All you have to do is say, "No, thank you, we are definitely not interested." Then as soon as you get to your room, be sure to UNPLUG the phone, as they will call at 8:15 am every single morning during your stay.
After we got checked in we went over to a lady to get the rundown on things. She asked us first thing if we were familiar or had heard of whatever it is they call it. They word it in a way that if we didn't know to expect it, we would have probably got sucked in. They asked what our plans were for the next morning and Matt just said, we're not interested and I have no idea what time we'll wake up. We're familiar with it and if we have any questions, we'll let you know. She was very respectful of what we said and gave us the rest of the tour without any further hassles. We didn't receive any early morning phone calls, either. Like the others have said, just say no thank you, we're familiar with it and we're not interested.
