I doubt the pool will be frigid in late February. Last September when we went the thing was like a hot tub the whole time, way too warm IMO. I would rather have it be cool and refreshing, but the later you go in February, the warmer the pool will get.

Generally Nov - Jan it's probably going to be chilly unless they put the heat on, which they don't seem to do very often. We were there just before Christmas and no one was in the pool. Coupled with the nights getting dark early, I'm not sure we will visit often in the winter months in future.

Before Nov it's cooling down and after Jan it's warming up so you should be good any other time. Summer months it's like a hot bath and probably too hot for most people's taste.

Just keeping it real based on our experiences. On both our trips in feb the pool was very cold. Definitely wasn't heated so maybe the key is that they are heating it when you are there. We are going in April instead this time hoping for warmer water! Wishing you sunny skies and warm water for your trip!

its cancun... 80 degrees thru the day, 70 at night... how cold can the pool be? last feb, the only time we found it cold was when they added water to it during our stay. next day it was back to warm.

you could always stand next to the pool bar and wait for a "warm area" of water to flow by, from where someone has been sitting all day and drinking beer :D
