Ok, so this is the first thread I've ever started, so please bear with me.

I am just wondering if anyone has ever tried the NO NO Hair removal system? I hate shaving, and would like something a little longer lasting than waxing, and laser is out of the budget...but the NO NO isn't exactly cheap either, so before I make a purchase, I was wondering if anyone "real" has ever tried it? Would like to find out if it really works and is worth the money? I know they offer you a full refund if your not satisfied, but I'd rather not shell out the money in the first place if its just crap, ya know. Thanks for any help you can provide :)

Really? Ya that's why I've been hesitant to try it. Sounds too good to be true, but the high price tag made me think it was possible it worked. How many laser treatments does it take at that rate? Thanks for the input!!

Missed that last sentence in my first reply lol. Will you be at TTR same dates as us? If so, pretty please with whip cream and a strawberry on top!! (allergic to cherries ;-)

I'm with Sam and Robin. Laser is worth the investment, as you get 85-90% PERMANENT hair removal. Laser is not nearly as expensive as it used to be due to all the deal sites like Groupon running deals.

Not all lasers are created equal, however. After much experimentation and money spent, I have concluded that the best is the Lightsheer Diode. I have had minimal results with other lasers, and the Yag laser gave me tiger-stripes pigmentation that has been slowly resolving for a year. I had Lightsheer treatment to my lower legs, and after only THREE treatments, it cleared 85% of the hair.

Avoid any laser deal that offers unlimited treatments for a year. These are low quality lasers and you will traipse back and forth to the salon every 6 weeks for a year to achieve only minimal results.

Laser works best on dark, coarse hair and people with fair skin. Won't work on blonde hair, and works poorly on fine hair. There are some lasers that are designed for darker-skinned people, but they are weaker lasers and should be avoided if you don't have dark skin.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice Karen. I fall under the dark, course hair, with fair skin so that's a plus. Negative is I'm from Cape Breton Nova Scotia and we only have one laser location to choose from and we only or that about a year ago. It was open longer tho in Halifax. Enlighten laser. I think they charge $500 for 5 sessions, and while I don't doubt that its worth every cent, I still need to have the money in the first place lol. Hard to come up with that much extra cash to splurge on yourself when your raising 3 kids!! =(

Ah yes, living in a place where there are few laser providers to choose from does nothing to keep prices down. I bought a deal for 3 lower leg treatments for $99 altogether, by way of comparison.

I put out the money for a Silk'N Sens Epil. The cartridges cost $50 and you can get them from Shopper's Drug Mart (which is where I got the machine as well). I haven't been committed but even still, it definitely does work.
