Pulling out my suitcase!!!! :) :announce: :huepfen013:

WOOO!! lol. I'm just so excited and pumped! I don't leave for another 2 months but I will share with you guys what I do!

I pull my suitcase out and leave it open in my room. Every time I come across something that is for Cancun, I toss it into my suitcase. I've been using a plastic baggie up until now. I found my orange ribbon to signify I'm a CancunCare-er. lol. Also found my little "7-day planner" paper that allows me to plan my week. Of course you can't forget the Bubba Keg! The other day I bought a few bikini tops and thong bottoms, as well as some travel size items and my banana boat dark tanning oil. Toss. Toss. Toss! :)

This helps me to never forget things since I have so much time to think of what I want to bring.

If you are super OCD like myself, you can choose to make an official "Pack list". This is something that I make that has everything from my contact solution to the glasses that are a straw that you put in your beer. lol.

There is nothing worse than being in cancun and going.... "OMG i can't believe I forgot _______". lol.

Of course most of you won't even pull out your suitcase until the week before or if you are a guy 30 minutes before you leave for the airport.... but I'm so excited that I can't contain myself! LOL :) :sunny:

Hammie, you're so funny! I was happy to read your post, because I do the same thing! So either I'm not crazy, or insanity loves company ;). My suitcase hits my bedroom floor about 6 weeks in advance, and I start tossing things in here and there. Packing makes me feel like the trip is closer than it actually is lol

hahaha yes! amen!!! I believe packing builds even more excitement and hype too! :) It's already halfway full! LOL. I also start with like a million outfits and eventually narrow down to (x) days of vacation plus one outfit :) Of course this is after I model like every outfit with 3 different pairs of shoes for whoever wants to come watch me/help me pack. lol.

I think we are the smart ones :)

hey ladies let the insanity begin then. Being a male I am a complete type A personality and have to make not only a single pack list but I separate the lists by different categories!(clothes, toiletries, electronics & "fun" stuff).

I start to pack stuff but with certain discretion, as we have kids coming around all the time. With 3 girls, and having them see the HOOCHIE dresses that mom is wearing on vacation doesn't really set a good standard for saying, "no you can't wear that out of the house".

We have kells dresses bought now(1 for each dinner night), just bought 4 new bikinis plus packed the 2 skimpy MS&WW's she has, now onto Karens favorite thing.... shoes! I have to still find all of my stuff though. I have most of it but not being a huge sports fan I have to go get a jersey. On the good side I do have the micro kilt but I don't know as if they would allow me to wear that at PatyOs... it covers all of nothing! it is more like a bean bag than a kilt! LOL

    bring on the micro kilt

Craig can vouch for the fact that you can rock a micro kilt in Paty-O's, Scott!

As for Type A, I have a master list for TTR on my computer so I don't forget the essentials (like Immodium!), and I revise it to change the clothes for each trip, then print it out and cross things off as they hit the suitcase. Have yet to forget anything important!

AHHH, but do you have it in a spread sheet form? The one thing I am going to be bringing for this trip that I just added to the list.... travel packets of Propel, Gatorade & Powerade. Perfect for replenishing the electrolytes in the late night before bed and early morning

This is funny.....I'm a part of your club. I thought I was the only one who took out the suitcases months before departure date. My husband laughs, but I pack his suitcase too and he's never said "we forgot ____" on any of our past trips.

hahahaha!! And Dowell I don't know how you do it! If I don't pack everything a certain way it not only won't zipper but it will be over 50 lbs. lol. I always try to get it to 45 lbs upon departure since we always find crap to bring back :)
