GoGo would like to point out that Blanco was responsible for this last comment. Hijacking my conversations. Again. Apologies for any offence caused.

A day trip to Isla Contoy

A day trip to Play del Carmen and/or Cozumel.

Snorkel a Cenote or the reef off Puerto Morelos (~1/2 day trips).

Summer, snorkel with the whale sharks.

Coco Bongo is always a great option

We LOVE Coco Bongo. It won't help save your liver, but I have to say... it is better than the best American clubs I've been to. If you haven't been there, in my opinion the best part is all the costumed performers, lip syncing and dancing to pop songs. One of the coolest memories I had was back in 2010 when the guy playing "The Mask" lifted a beautiful girl up into the air. I would have been freaked out if I were her since he was on a rope harness and she was just clinging to him. But she kept her cool and though she seemed stunned, she didn't seem to mind the fact that when he picked her up, he did it in a way to show off her g-string. I don't know why flying performers seems so awesome to me, but it never seems to get old. =)

Is there a minimum age to get in? I feel like I've seen kids there before but I can't remember.

I went to The City nightclub with the resort in September, and I have to say I did NOT like it and will never go back. It was about 100 degrees in there, and despite the fact that the place is huge, it has a TINY raised dancefloor 5 feet off the ground that fits about 100 people if you jam together like sardines. It was about 120 degrees on that dancefloor. Unless you were on the dancefloor, there was no dancing happening. You are much better off staying at Paty-O's than going to The City.

Have you been to any other clubs? We did CocoBongo in December, so feel it's too soon to go back in April, but want to do something different, that doesn't include playing sardines with a load of teens!
