What are your favourite things to do in Cancun off the resort? Be specific! The last time we were in the area was almost 10 years ago and we only went to Xel Ha and Tulum.

The first time we went to cancun we had an excursion 6 out of our 7 days. We weren't sure if we were ever going to go back so we packed as much into the vacation as possible. It was fun but tiresome. The last two times we have only went off resort 2-3 times during the 8 days. If I was going to pick one major thing to do it would probably be Xcaret or scuba diving. That was way better than Xel Ha in my opinion. We are also thinking about going to a public beach for a few hours one day since TTR really lacks a nice beach. Oh, and Coco Bongos of course.
Jungle Tour through the groves on small power boats is fun and at the end you snorkle off coast. i did quick search, last placed I stayed it was free event.. Cancun Vacation Experts
We always go for 2 weeks at least. July 2011 we did 3 weeks because in January we went home after 2 weeks and was not ready. What are you guys old!
Drinking and partying is fun and all, but I would go completely stir crazy sitting in the same beach chair for 2 weeks no matter how awesome the party. I'm used to vacations where I'm always on the go and doing different things. We will definitely need a few off resort trips while we're there!
The company that provides your transportation back and forth to hotel have reps. that have several trips you can go on during ur visit! Plus the hotel has a rep. for trips also..Might want to compare prices with each one! :daveandmo:
