I was just browsing YouTube and stumbled on this video from Feb 2012, only a few weeks after we were there the second time. I think it is a great video for those who have never been there before to get a sense of what it is like on a normal day (granted, the pool is usually more crowded than that, must have been early in the morning). The night time pool party was on Saturday night, and, again, they must have been filming early because that party is very crowded. Here is another one - longer but worth watching if you are wondering about stuff to do on the water and more of the night life. &feature=fvwp After three visits there, I can say they capture the essence of it pretty well. The wave runners are awesome, very fun!! $50 for a half hour (but you can negotiate that with a tip and a smile) - must have cash! Three weeks and we'll be doing that!
Seems alot quieter n not as lively as usual. Shows how everything looks but doesn't quite capture the atmosphere. \sorry just my opinion.
The first part of the video where the pools were empty were definitely filmed in the morning. You can tell by the shadows of the people walking around. Not sure how Youtube missed that nudity at the end around the pool bar. There were several topless women visible... I'm not complaining, just surprised they didn't flag it.
Well shit... that just makes me want to go now !!! I'm starting to have my doubts that I can wait till April..
