Temptation & Desire We just came back from our honeymoon where we spent 3 nights at Temptation Cancun and 6 nights at Desire. Best decision we could have made. I agree with the folks that say to go to Desire last. It is one of the most beautiful resorts you'll ever visit and a great way to end. I had never been to a nude resort before and we aren't swingers and we still had the best time. Diamondheaded's review of Desire is spot on.
Glad you had a good time Rob. Read the trip report on the other site and a bit disappointed you didn't post it here too, since it was a comparison and is obviously something folks would be interested about here.

Right here (main Temptation Forum) as a separate thread would be fine, put a link to it in this thread I know we don't have a dedicated Desire forum (trying to keep the forum PG rated) but your report was not explicit at all, just a good read and valuable info for those considering a change.
awesome steve will title it something more appropriate relating to Temptation. also we will be going back to Temptation for an entire week in may and wish you would consider doing a big cancuncare boobze cruise for the desire crowd that week ?

not really, they let you check in earlier than 3pm and check out is at 12pm, but you can use all facilities (including restaurants) all day long even if you have a very late flight.
We spend the first 4-5 days at TTR and the last 2-3 days at Desire, it just gets too expensive at $500 a night, We usually check out of TTR at 10am and at Desire by 11am, we get to use the whole resort until our room is ready. We have never had to wait more than 2 hrs for our room....plus it wouldn't matter. We have already found Sid and he's hooked us up with a bed on the beach.
We split our trip in 2011 with 2 nights at TTR and 5 at Desire, this year we are doing 5 at TTR and 6 at Desire. I don't see how you can be bored at Desire, but I guess it depends on what your favorite thing for vacation is. Personally spending time together is our ultimate goal, we get plenty of "partying" (drinking, dancing) when we go to New Orleans. But, there is a great dance club at Desire and you can drink as much as you want as well. I guess to me it is more romantic at Desire, and you don't have to be in the lifestyle to have a good time, we find that it is perfect for just "me & you" time as well as visiting with friends or making new friends. We are spending more time at TTR this time because we are able to go earlier in May, so we will see some of the folks we would see years ago and we are looking foward to that. Also, we will do some of the things outside of the resort, such as CocoBongo, Booze cruise, bus ride to town, etc while at TTR that we will not do when we are at Desire (plan to stay at the resort the whole time because it is further out, maybe a day trip to Pearl, just to see what it looks like). This is our "two cents" about spliting a trip between the resorts. If you had asked us before we had ever went to Desire, we would have said no, but after actually going, we really liked Desire the best as far as resort experience and "couple time", we are only going to TTR to visit with old friends (and I'm sure make new ones) and be able to enjoy some off-property stuff in Cancun.
