Just returned in Nov 4 my 4th trip 2 TTR, & counting my sick days 2 c if I have enough 2 get sick (wink-wink) & go back, next Nov is a long way off.
I am wondering the same question. I LOVE TTR but my husband wants to try some place other then Mexico...I am having a really hard time finding something. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
We did are first trip to TTR (was Blue bay getaway back then) about ten years ago then did what you hubby wants , we traveled the Caribbean trying other resorts, some 5 star ones, but we were never happy, always comparing the resorts to the time we were at TTR. WE started going back and are happy know.
I would have to say no! TTR offers so many options, you can be as wild and free as you want (ok with some restrictions, but very few) you don't have to drink or go topless, you don't have to participate in a balcony show, or observe one, you don't have to participate in the sexy games or theme nights, or go on Steve's world famous Boob Cruise, or eat at the different restaurants until you stomach is content, or relax by the quiet pool, or make friendships that will last a lifetime, or rekindle a spark in your relationship, or spend your vacation without any kids around, or dance the night away under the stars, or be up all night to see the sun come up. No you don't have to do any or all of the above, but TTR has ALL of those options and that "all-inclusive" package is one of a kind and hasn't been found anywhere else.
Yes We have been going to TTR since it was Blue Bay also. I have heard stories about people going other places and then comparing it to TTR. Good news is that we would be going with at least one other couple so we will at least have a good time with them. At HEDO is it required to be nude on the nude side? I go topless but I don't like nude, and my husband would not do nude...however it doesn't bother us if others are nude.
There is a resort about 30 miles North of Atlanta right off Ga 400 called Paradise Valley. Close to a little town named Dawsonville (If you like Nascar, its Bill Elliots Home). Someone has spent lots of $$$ on this place. They have a Web site that turns a lot of folks off since it mentions "Family Friendly". I asked the owner and they have to put that there to conform to the rules of some nude sunbathing group. Without that, the local folks ould throw them out. (this is Georgia) Never seen any families there Its really a very FUN place in the summer, The have a hotel, but most people just rent out Condos for the Week or Weekend Forget if the pool is All nude or just CO. They have weekend parties during the summer that have 200-300 folks. No Sex or Drugs, just General purpose wildness. Very much fun and its close to Atlanta. There are lots of places to eat there or 5 miles way in Dawsonville. think you can even stay at the Comfort Inn in Dawsonville. Its not Temptations, Hedo or Caiente, but its close and its fun (in the summer). I have heard that the same group that owns Paradise Lakes in Florida also owns this, but not sure.
No sex AND no drugs? This sounds like one of those family parties that we dread going to. At least have one OR the other. :xyxthumbs:
I went to LeBlanc in Cancun a few years ago and it is just that, uber quiet couples only with great food and drinks. Nothing like what could be compared to TTR for sure. If you are looking for quiet romance they do they very well Hedo - old and dirty. Yes nude side beach means you are nude - everyone. the hotel doesn't enforce, the guests do.
