As long as you are happy with you, that is all that should matter. Self confidence, not arrogance makes people of all shapes, sizes and color sexy. Beauty comes from the inside. Leave your appearance concerns at customs, Let your inhibitions go while on vacation at TTR, the one great place that allows it Go and have the time of your life, you only live once. You will not regret it! (I don't know too many people that would go to a steak house and ask just for the bone, they want meat and great marbling to savor upon.)
Yes every one is skinny and hot because the booze is good :beer4: Seriously,, its a great place to be .
A great example of the TTR attitude: while there last month, hubby and I (old geezers that we are) wear thongs and not a lot else. And feel comfortable and forget about it. One afternoon we went down the pier to wait for the Boobs Cruise to come in, and another boat came in with non TTR people on it. Some (lots of swear words) bloke decided it would be ok to take photos of us without asking, and when we objected, loudly, he said "we were asking for attention dressed the way we were" This NEVER EVER happens at TTR!!!! I have never heard any derogatory comments made about anyone's appearance. Because we are all awesome!! :xyxthumbs:
Be happy with what you are blessed with. One's inner beauty is what shines on the outside no matter what size, its just a shell covering of one's true inner beauty. if people dont like what they see who cares. be happy in your own skin!
Food for thought. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? Well then you can look at TTR as a well rounded Garden of Eden. There is always someone there you will want to get to take a bite of the forbidden apple. TTR is not for skinny people as much as it is not for bigger people. The way I look at things is if I were to go out to a bar, nightclub, movie, dinner/restaurant or where ever, would you want to see only people of your own color? HELL NO! The more diverse the crowd the more the entertainment value goes up. People mingle and socially gather from their environment. Our culture is shaped by our environment. I had a teacher say that if there is one thing he could teach us it is that "culture is the way humans adapt to their environment". "If you don't like the culture you live in and around, it is up to you to change your environment". I have found it so very true and by going to TTR you feel like you finally are in a place where you can be who you want to be or more so... be who you are. The only way you would ever be looked at sideways is if you are being some kind of bag o' douche and then you will e let know about it. Otherwise come as who you are, dress as who you are, don't worry about age, size, color, background, or what to wear. Be comfortable knowing you can be yourself without judgement. People will flock to you becoming new found friends and you will feel more comfortable than you do in your own home!
