I've been playing around with the dates on Alpharooms. Apparently April 18th is the point that the price drops from $182/night to $137/night. We are going from 4/15 - 4/20. If you book the 5 days at once it is at the higher rate per night, if I break it up and book 4/15-4/18 and 4/18 - 4/20 you get the first 3 nights at $182 and the last 2 at $137. Thought that was odd. Still may wait until next year and see if price drops. Already booked our airfare, so we are going either way.

LOL I might try that one on Jeff... I already booked the room honey.. LOL. What we are finding expensive right now is the airfare.
Because everyone seems to be all over the place in April I think I may just sit back and wait for a really good deal, either sometime in April or maybe May.

Here we go again. Booked 48 hours ago wuth Travel Republic and said I would get reservation receipt within 12 hours. Still nothing. Thing that amazes me is there is no email on there website. Does anyone have any email for this site? I know I should have used alpharooms.

We all got ours in less than 2 hrs. Did you check your junk mail? Your settings might not allow foreign mail. My company email won't even accept it as junk. I'll see if I can get you an email address off my confirmation.

I spoke to them on teh phone. They had the reservation made, and resent the email. It provides a "Accommodation Provider Ref(s): #" is this pretty safe? I only paid the deposit so I can't see them have paid the resort yet.

    Was it 2101?

Just asking cause that's the room Jodie & I always get and that bed has been used and abused a few times.

They even came in and changed the mattress to a lager / softer one the last time we were there, Jodie thought I left a smoke going and burnt the mattress when she came back to the room while they were changing it.

That area is so loud it isn't funny, but it is also sooo convenient

Just checked and found 9 nights at $134.88$ night from April 16th-25th. They even offer just a deposit for now and full payment 12 weeks before taking the trip. Now my only problem is deciding on this or taking the VIP discount i was offered for $170/night. Not sure if $35/night is worth the VIP and not sure about this Travel Republic Site either. Help please LOL. Anyone ever use the VIP discounts that VIP members give out. All you have to do is hop along for the 30 minute tour and listen to their schpiel, which I don't really mind. The VIP package is pretty nice.
