We are still in limbo, will find out tomorrow morning when we call F&S. not expecting it to go well even though we booked in Sept. TTR gave us the same story too. We refuse to go away without a fight on this. They made a great deal of money while holding onto ours and caused many people mental an financial grief. It's not practical to pay out more than the increased costs to fight this. That is why we are encouraging everyone to stand up against F&S. We have been in contact with Scott and we will be making calls soon. Keep in mind, if we can win this, you may get the same costs at a different time. I think the more we can have fighting this, the stronger we will be. That is why I am encouraging you all to take Scott's advice that is below. We can use all the help we can get.

 

Just booked with Alpharooms, will go after Fun and Sun tomorrow to get my refund. $182.00 per room per night. Good deal just not the Great deal we had hoped for.

 

Hey everyone dont book with Fun in the sun vacations,,They sold me 7 nites at temptations for 99 a night then couldnt get the room ..So they said 199 a nite but they couldnt make that happen either ,,well i booked my flight and would have been left with out a room ,,they didnt even tell me or email me they couldnt get the room ..if u think ur booked with them u better check because ur not...tell ur friends please..

I just tried it and came up to 1620.00 for the week.

 

I,ve been researching a lot the last few days and the prices are all over the place,,, from 135 to 329 @ night.. WTF ive heard about volatility .

The site i booked with went from 145 to 259 PER NIGHT in one day.

Alpha rooms is looking good right now,, if you find a good deal jump on it. Expedia has good prices if you book a flight with the hotel;

 

$1379.00 with insurance. Mike and Patty booked at same time but later got e-mail that their request could not be filled. Fun and Sun made me 3 differant offers they did not want to give me a refund, not sure if my refund is coming yet, will have to wait and see.

 

Just call your CC company and put a fraudulent claim in.

 

Called Fun n Sun just to see what was happening with my 06/13 reservation and was told it is cancelled. The girl I spoke with was real nice and offered my the same deals as others or a refund. I took the refund, was sent an email confirming it. I asked why I had not be contacted and she said they were contacting reservations by date, the sooner the travel date the sooner you were contacted. She also said they would be contacting reservations for 2013 next week. Have made new reservations with Alpha rooms, with tax $137 per night for 2 people. I did find rooms a little less on other sites out of Europe, but seems Alpha Rooms has a good reputation on CC.

 

We received a call from f and s yesterday, and the rep questioned why they received a charge back from our cc company. So after explaining that we received no notification of cancellation from them, and that we had to find out about the issues on cancuncare , plus the fact that we were glad we had not booked flights yet, he understood our side. Although he tried to say they refunded our card the same day as the cancellation( not true), we did in fact get our refund a week later.
