Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone knows of another adults only resort that is similar to TTR in the party atmosphere aspect? I've been reading a lot of reviews on other adult resorts and I hate seeing the words "very quiet and relaxing"!! That just conjures up images of people reading their books beside the pool lol. I love TTR and fully intend on returning, but have been curious about trying out other resorts. Just don't want to be disappointed and wish I was at TTR instead!
We have done Golden Parnassas for a few days after 12 days at ttr.. You could try that.. go to ttr get your party on then go relax for a couple days before heading home..its a great way to try other resorts and not be stuck there if its too relaxing.. GP could be fun I am guessing but we were only there for 3 days and we were partied out!!.. lol
More on the clothing optional style but anyone looked into or tried Caliente Caribe. There's apparently one in Tampa and Puerto Plata . Sounds pretty lively based on their website.
385 to 540 @ night in Jan for DR ,, they worn you about a lot of take overs when your checking/booking dates.. as long as your there for the right take over, lol
We went to the Caliente in Tampa this past April, on Easter Sunday. We had no idea ahead of time but found out that they were celebrating their anniversary that weekend (not sure if 20th or 25th but it was along those lines) and during the day, it was very busy and lively. At night, only 1 restaurant was opened. The disco was closed and the hot tub area was the only evening spot for "entertainment". There were a few couples but it was nothing like Patio's or Nice Shoes. We thoroughly enjoyed it and want to go again. My wife actually enjoyed it more, it seemed, then Temptaton. The only thing though, is from everything we've heard is that Monday-Wednesday, it's pretty slow but picks up from Thursday through the weekend, where as it seems Temptation really doesn't have many days, if any, that are slow.
We are with Melissa & Patrick...we have been to a lot of adult resorts over the last 10 years and Temptations is in a class by itself. I find it kinda interesting that some other resort chain has not picked up and the market and went after it. Hedo is not really in the same category...and the siter resort Desire is a bit to much for many folks....Temptations works for us for a lot of reasons.
At this point only having 8 family trips and 1 couples trip into mexico, I would have to say that its the people that make the trip, NOT THE RESORT.
