We are going to go ahead and book with either Alpha rooms or B2C vacations. About the same price and we have used both.
Requested our refund. Has anyone received thier refund since they requested it. Should be interesting to see how long this process takes. I received my confirmation email from Alexa stating my trip has been cancelled and refund should take 7-10 days. Paul
Alpharooms IF IT WERE ME I WOULD JUST BOOK ALPHAROOMS SAVING A COUPLE DOLLARS IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS GLENN:announce:
Just rebooked with Alpharooms after searching TTR's website, Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, and Bookit--all were listing $328/ night for last week of march. Alpharooms was $248/night.
Sorry guys, got drunk on the plane and with USA to the resort and by the pool when we got here. Have to update sometime tomorrow, headed to dinner and then Paty=O=s LOL go figure I love this place.
Dont panic yet unless you already got a refund. You had a confirmation from the hotel. See what I find out tomorrow.
We are frustrated like everyone else, but we don't get what's going on. Not sure about Canada, England or any other country, but in the US, it is next to impossible to change or cancel flights. Plus, if you rebook, what are chances of getting the same dates? there has to be something we can do to make fun and sun honor what they sold. Are we all wet or do we have options? I plan on taking others advice and getting ahold of people in Florida and Louisiana. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Depending on your dates you can rebook your room with Alpha rooms, Book it,Orbitz..... more money ,,,,but ,,, Pending on your departure date you can change your flight for 50 to 150 $ pp if you cant get same deal. When ever we build our own trip we run this risk,, ther,s alway s a bit of safety built into a prepackaged trip, but even then I have had them change departure times on me and you get screwed out of a day. Yes they should be liable for any increase costs but good luck with that
