But I guess it is a safe assumption that you lose the processing fee which would be $117 for a week stay. Still a great deal.
It either changed or I missed ,, their price is now per person on '' Book it'' when you book a room for 2,, go figure
Is this site legit? Temptations Resort If so, it is worth cancelling for $300, and re-booking 7 nights for $700 and 2 flights for $900. That would be $1600 total for 7 nights when I paid $2300 for 6 nights (did reserve ocean view room). So even with the $300 cancellation fee, I would be saving about $400 AND getting an extra night. It all depends on temptationscancun.net being a legit site. Anyone else use them?
So far people have been using it and showing up at the hotel and having reservation in their names so we're at least hoping that the trend continues. If not, you're protected by the use of your CC for getting a refund. All I can say is I've stepped off the curb and taken the deal, and I'm not necessarily advocating other join me to make me feel better, just letting you know what I found and did. Jamie
Jamie, we are right there with you, we just booked for 5 nights in April, $581 for the 2 of us. You have to call the toll free number to confirm reservation, they seem very legit. I asked questions regarding a timeshare presentation, they said that there is no presentation required. They have a great cancellation policy. Too good to be true, we thought that when we jumped on the Alpharooms ridiculous deal and had no problems. Come on April! Paul & Lisa
In speaking with travelocity, there is a $150/ticket cancellation fee for the US Airways tickets. Deciding if it is worth cancelling to go for this hotel deal that seems too good to be true.
Jamie, did you call the resort to make sure your booking is in their system? We just jumped along with you and booked a week. I got confirmation via the phone call and it also just showed on the credit card statement online as pending. I think I am going to try and call TTR tomorrow to make sure that they have us booked in.
