Franco, Obama is very popular among those who do not have to pay for his mistakes. His Obamacare will put millions more people on the dependance on government roles which is vote buying at its finest. No one wants to cut off their own freebies even if it means helping to save a nation. Among my small business clients, not one single person supported Obama. His class warfare and spending into oblivion will just push the tin can down the road until we become another third world country. Those of you in Europe can celebrate, but this is a darker day for all of us than you can even remotely realize.
The people who voted for Obama are all those who would benefit from a Welfare state and the liberal media along with the ultra liberal Hollywood Elite. However note that some of the Hollywood Elite are changing their minds since now they will have to start to contribute their wealth to the poor. And those celebrities do not want to pay anybody's way when push comes to shove. Those egos are about to get bruised big time and they have no clue that they voted for this. Business owners in general did not vote for him since they have the most to lose and know it. Millions of people will go on welfare because of this and unemployemnt will go up since may employers will not hire in order to not meet certain guidelines for Obamacare and will drop health insurance plans for employees to save money. If you think Obamacare is a savings tell that to insurance companies who are raising rates this year to the tune of 10-15 percent while last year when they were not sure of Obamacare they only raised rates 2-5 percent. This president is the worst one we ever had and sorry but this nation will suffer for its stupidity because of it.
Funny about the comments when the word was that there was going to be rioting in the streets if Obama didn't win and I fully expect that would have been the case. The fallacy of any democratic form of government is that eventually the people get the government they deserve.

Yep Dos, she's certainly got a bug up her butt. I made it part way through before I gave up and figured she shouldn't get near her computer for a few days. The election is over and now we have to figure out what to do. We are about to have a major tax increase due to the fact that Obama extended the Bush tax cuts. Funny, how that little tidbit got glossed over, but we are going to have some serious issues in the next few months and then in the next few years. Rawkus, I have to agree with you that the far right of the Republican Party is really hurting the mainstream of the party. That is pretty obvious when a man who has the abysmal record of Obama could get re-elected. Most of his votes were anti-Romney and Republican votes. The Democrats were able to use dumb statements to their advantage while the Republicans didn't go after Biden other than with tongue in cheek. Also Pelosi and Reid are two that have a foot in mouth disease that most on the right seemed to ignore. Too bad really because the country has an extreme dislike of Pelosi and Reid, but for whatever reason the Republican establishment did not use them as an issue. Somewhere along the way, the far right has got to realize that giving someone like a Rick Santorum a win in any state sends a message to the rest of the country that most Americans are not comfortable with. We are not ready for an American Ayatollah even if he is wearing a cross rather than a crescent.
How about this? MAYBE people just didn't want Romney. Regardless of all the "facts" you seem to come up with, I just can't see that 60Million people in this country are stupid and/or on government assistance. Like I said MANY posts ago, if the Rep party had put up a worthy candidate I would have voted for him/her. They didn't, and this is the result. We didn't the party back Ron Paul? I definitely would've voted for him. I chose to vote for Gary Johnson and contrary to some beliefs, my vote did not get Mr. Obama re-elected. I truly believe that many voters decided "the grass may not be greener on the other side". At least you know what you're getting with Mr. Obama whether you agree or not. Mr. Romney never truly laid out a plan and it bit him in the ass. They have 4 more years and I'm guessing we won't have to worry about the next election centering on a candidate getting 80% of the black vote because he's black.
I did some rough guesstimates from the exit polls. About 118Million voters, of which 72% white, 13%black, 10% latino , 3% Asian, 2% other. Romney got 59% of white, 6% black, 27% latino, 26% asian, and 38% other. Really it doesn't matter who the black, latino, asian and other vote for, because there is that many more whites that vote. So simple stating that Mr. Obama won because of the black vote is silly. Again, it won't even be an issue in 2016 as there probably won't be another black person to take those "keeping it real" votes away from the other candidates.
There was a top 10 richest counties article posted on forbes a few months ago. 7 of those 10 are in the DC Metro area. Of those 10, only 3 were won by Romney. I'm guessing these folks aren't on government assistance and are probably some of the highest taxed individuals out there. Why did they re-elect Obama? Maybe it ain't all as bad as some make it seem. Do you not think that it perhaps wasn't Romney, but the fundemental Republican ideology that was rejected - it's quite clear that the right wing rhetoric does not wash in modern America! If they want to stand a chance in the next election, they will have to get back to the drawing board!
