Are the prices at the Walmart in Cancun comparable to the states? Can you use your Walmart credit card there?
Tequila prices are very reasonable with a good selection if you want to pick up a couple of bottles to take home.
The Wal mart we stopped at sucked! I hear there is a bigger one, but we got what we needed. The one we went to was more like just a grocery store.
no offense intended... but... walmart sucks the big one.... I wouldnt go tot he one at home, why would you go to mexico to go to one??? no comprendez.
Easy bus ride from Temptation, and it is a good place to pick up some things you might have forgotten or didn't want to pack. The prices are in pesos, but pretty similar to the US. There also is a liquor store across the street from Walmart, and they have a very nice wine selection.
We always head to Walmart our first morning there. We find it's much easier to go and buy our toiletries and also pick up a supply of redbull, some booze for the room and some snacks as well. The toiletries that we buy when we're down there we leave down there...don't want to run the risk of having overweight luggage on the way home. D
Ditto, and I usually leave any toiletries and other goodies for my hard working friends at Temptation xx but if you do give the staff/cleaner anything you have to give them a signed note itemising the things so they can take them out oif the resort, as the security is very tight for the staff xx
