We have tickets for the Interactive Aquarium and wondered how much a taxi should cost do not to get ripped off and should we get the hotel to call one? Also a taxi to get back to Temptations, are they outside the Aquarium? Cheers
The Aquarium is at Plaza La Isla. If you were to take a taxi pay no more than 120 pesos (10 dollars) and the same back. Whenever taking a taxi walk to the road and flag one down. Avoid the ones in the hotel parking - they pay to be there, pay the bell boys commission and therefore they charge a higher price. Rather than a taxi why not take the bus? It's very easy and stops right outside both the hotel and Plaza La Isla. It's just one road and one fare however far you want to go - 7.5 pesos pp I think - so less than a dollar or about 35p in real money
