I don't know why I havent asked this question before.. What is the shopping like in Cancun and where is best to go fe bargains? Are there any discount malls near by???
good shopping lots of malls , easy to get to by bus xx plaza amaricanas is good downtown, and kulakhan and la isla are my favourites in the hotel zone. we can have a shopping day and liquid lunch if you want...

fyi, if you have the idea of maybe slipping out in the am to the plaza of the americas and shopping till about noon, then heading back in time to make the sexy pool, it wont work. we went last trip at 9 30 am to plaza of the americas,( 15.00 each way cabride) told the cabbie to pick us up at 11 30, and found that the plaza doesnt opoen till 11........ was surprised the front desk didnt inform us of this when we asked about shopping, and neither did the cabbie. just an fyi so you dont run into what we did.
cheers mr and mrs ranger. thanks for info, normally do plaza A about 5pm ish,then grab a bite and a margarita downtown the bus is easy and less than a dollar each way. same with la isla it is a great evening place.. shops bars restaurants.. wall mart is the early morning one lol..... usually first day to stock up on toiletries and essentail booze lol..depends how much i buy sometimes get a cab back from wallmart for 8 dollars.. but normally use buses everywhere , cancun has one of the best and cheapest bus services.:icon_biggrin:
