Thought of some more since I work nights and have that kind of time with my thoughts:

The Club Dumas and The Flanders Panel by Arturo Perez-Reveire

The Alienist and The Angel of Darkness by Caleb Carr

Life of Pi is a great one at it will be coming out in movie form soon. If I could only bring one book to a deserted isle, it would be The Stand by Stephen King. I read a book a week practically and it is still my favorite. I hated the 50 Shades books (to be fair, I only attempted the first one but couldn't get very far...) Lonesome Dove is a favorite. Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett is one I would put on any list if you have never read it. There are so many!! Like I said, I am a reader!! :)

Sorry I cant help you out But I did read all 50 shades books in a week and half....my hubby sure did like that week and half....If the wife enjoyed 50 shades she should try the story of O by author Anne Desclos under the pen name Pauline Réage.

I recommend 50 shades of grey for the female readers because the husbands-Boyfriend certainly benefits from it :)

I would have to disagree... my hubby suffered rather badly during my absolutely torturous "read" (I actually ended up more scanning through it than reading, as it was awfully repetitive and simply boring) of 50 shades of this Holy Crap. I miserably fail to understand how this book makes thousands of women horny?!?!?!

Now, back in the day, I read Anne Rice's 'Beauty' series. THAT is risque and my husband was really glad I read that. It is, however, way over the top for some. But, it makes 50 Shades read like a Dr. Seuss book. LOL

I loved the books the girl with the dragon tattoo series, I was crushed and I swear almost cried when I found out the author had past. She is one of my most favorite characters and now there will be no more.. ahh it is depressing me again... :icon_cry:
Another series that can really piss off the reader is Game of Thrones.. another great series.
My favorite movie I think of all time is Tombstone Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday

Dragon Tattoo series was wonderful and Game of Thrones too. Nice picks. If you want a classic fantastic read, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favorite fantasy of all times. Oh, I forgot to tell you all...I'm a giant nerd. GIANT NERD!! :)
