Wow, that is extremely cheap! I think my liver and/or kidneys would shut down if I was there for 3 weeks.
oh sorry the most obvious bit , thomascook . also 8th-22nd = 2 weeks not 3  adding the extra week to 3weeks takes price up a fair bit i seem to remember .
What's bugging me is that Thomas Cook appear to have updated their system, so you can now exclude in-flight meal and resort transfer (costs £88). Didn't have that option when we booked earlier this year! Maddening when Russ doesn't eat 90% of the airline food and we're considering USA Transfers to avoid the long wait on the coach transfer. Very annoyed! Other than that, we're paying £350 more to fly out two weeks earlier. Will bear this in mind next time that you can now uncheck meals and transfers.
Wow, that's $141 USD. Consider $55 for USA Transfers - private and much quicker and it leaves you $86 (£53) to spend on food to take with you on the plane. You could bring a suitcase full!
You would have to open all the bags of food for the checks at the airport. LOL. Buffet line for the security guards.
Definitely going down this route next time. Yes it's an 11 hour flight from the UK and that's a long time without food, but I sit through work for going on 10 hours sometimes with only a crummy sandwich, so I figure 11 hours with just a sandwich is bearable - then straight to the buffet at TTR for some lunch on arrival. I just want more Brits to know that unticking the option for transfers to/from the resort will divert you from a smelly coach, that (for me) took 20 mins to even get its engine started, then about 40 mins to stop at every hotel down the strip before arriving at TTR. Currently USA Transfers will get you there in around 20 mins max and it only costs equivalent of £21 for one-way from airport or £34 (equivalent in dollars) for a round-trip (from/to the airport). That is £3 cheaper for one-way or a staggering £14 cheaper round-trip that Thomas Cook are charging! What I don't understand is that less than 6 months ago we didn't have the option to exclude this 'we're including transport in your holiday' and 'we'll provide your in-flight meal option' option. Now they do, I'm out £54, from choosing my own transfer and waiving in-flight meal. That's all money that I consider would go to the waiters and staff at TTR if I didn't have to pay it to my useless travel agent.
