Got a new breakfast that I think I can actually stick to... 1 banana 1 heavy tbsp peanut butter 1/2 cup milk 6-8 cubes ice Blend each ingredient for 15-20 seconds before adding the next. GREAT shake, really filling, and easy too!
I find your post both encouraging and motivating. At the end of October, I will have completed my weight loss challenge and will be focusing on maintaining and toning. I am more then a little concerned that I will creep back up but it is unrealistic to think I can continue to put the same effort into this as I have over the last 6 months. I got to find a balanced lifestyle that I can happily live within. Glad to hear that you were able to find yours. That is AWESOME! You should be very proud 8.2 lbs in 4 weeks and only 6.8 lbs to go over the next 4 weeks. That's a particular amazing feat giving your additional challenges with your neck

Finally got my chiropractor and my personal trainer to have a chat.. so everyone is on the same page!.. should be a win win for me!.. lol I'm hoping to get that last 7 lbs off before I go.. ill be giving it my best thats for sure!
Goal: -15lbs To date: -11.3 lbs Days Remaining: 26 All is going good except I am starting to think I am losing muscle. Maybe it's my imagination but I seem a little weaker than before and I get winded sooner. I think I am in need of some fitness/nutrician advice. Perhaps it's as simple as a good multi-vitamin or more red meat in my diet.
Jim you lost almost 2 lbs since the 27th... thats like 4 days.. that is very quick weight loss.. maybe slow it down a bit and yes add more protine for sure. it doesnt have to be red meat.. salmon is the best with good fat and high protine.. if your doing low carbs,, not sure what it is your doing for food. but if you are not feeling great then slow it down.. be careful that you dont get stuck in the rut of 'Just a few more pounds" you did an awesome job at losing .. now its time to learn to maintain.. add a few more carbs and high protine for a couple days to see what happens.
Good thing I just grabbed a salmon burger for lunch. I am really not trying to lose weight super fast or anything, just think I got into a good routine. Typical weight loss for me is generally around .3 or .4 lbs a day (sometimes more, sometimes less) Here's a typical day 6am - Greek yougurt 6:40 - workout 30 minutes crossfit 7:30am - banana 10:30 - 1 1/2 cups - Trail mix (dried fruits, nuts and yougurt chips) 1:30pm - Wendys BLT Cobb salad or Baja Salad 4pm - trail mix or fruit (small amount) 5 pm - 5 km run or 1 hour on spinning bike or eliptical 6pm - 2 wraps with chicken and veggies 4-5 bottles of water per day My point is - I don't think I am starving myself. I am working out twice a day/ 6 days a week, but I have been doing it for the past 2 months and it was getting easier up until early last week. More protein sounds like good advice to me so I am going to get more salmon (and more red meat) into my diet starting today and monitor how I feel. It may be that simple. Thank you
I so should not be giving advise.. haha! I have no training what so ever, if the weakness seems to continue Id see your doctor.. however I do consider my self a pro-dieter..haha.thoes who cant!..... teach!.. haha! nah, I have just fought my weight forever, mostly the same 20 lbs.. over and over and over... lol sigh!!
