Halloween Week, Oct 26 to Nov 4, 2012

I went a few years ago with a football buddy to be there when New Orleans won the Superbowl. One of the best vacations of my life. To be part of that insane celebration and to do Mardi Gras as well - wow it was something special. Can't wait to bring my wife.

 

We were there when the Saints won the Super Bowl. Watched the game at the House of Blues. One of the best nights of my life. My husband would say THE best night of his life!!

 

Yes, we flew over 1500 miles to be there. Can't remember the name of the place where we watched it but it was 1 block off the Bourbon. All you can eat and all you can drink - what a blast. I love Drew Brees ( in a manly, non sexual way). And what great people we met while there - they all thought we were crazy for flying there to watch a game on tv at a bar, but I would do it again in a heatbeat.

 

ROFL! My husband jokes that Drew Brees is his man-crush! Well, we won't be doing it again this year but there is always next year! And we only had to drive 4 hours. 1500 miles is dedication!

 

Your husband and I are going to get along just fine. And don't give up on the Saints yet! Despite all the turmoil and an 0-3 start, they still have lots of talent.

Grew up in Tampa. Have only lived in NE Florida for about 4 years now. I am told that I should convert, but I can't do it.

 

I understand. I was born in Miami but have never really followed the Dolphins. My brother bought a vacation home in Tampa so I am hoping to catch some Buc's game in the future.

 

Looks like this is a crowd I can get along with. See you between the 27th and 3rd for lucky trip #12 for me!
