    Can't help you with that, but just wanted to say that a thread about the healthy foods we have discussed lately, is great idea. Lets keep this one going and lets keep it focused on what its meant for. :)

    Ps. Im intrigued about the maca powder, after reading about it. Yet another interesting thing to research - thanks!

    Get the maca root and let it dry then use a morter & pestle........

    Don't know where to get it here. But it's not very versatile in terms of what it can be added to / cooked into. It has a very gritty sand like texture and about the only thing edible I found was to mix it with pancake mix (which turned usually amazing tasting pancakes into just above the edible line)

    If you want to add it to a shake of fruits and other veggies and dont care about the texture, by all means go for it. Just make sure you have a toothbrush handy ;-).

    I personally enjoy hemp hearts over the protein anyday. It's not pure protein/fiber but they're packed with omegas.

    Yeah, hemp hearts are the best. Just looking to find them here...it cannot be grown in the US because the govt is stupid.
